Who actually manages Glen Court Estate day to day?
Glen Court Estate is operated by GLEN COURT (LEEDS) LIMITED, which handles the day-to-day leasehold block management for the building, from maintenance to service charge collection.
What does my annual service charge cover?
Your service charge covers the shared costs of running the block: cleaning and upkeep of communal areas, buildings insurance, grounds maintenance, repairs, and a contribution to the reserve fund. You get a breakdown with your statement.
How do I report a repair or a problem in the communal areas?
Report it through the contact details on this site, giving the location and as much detail as you can. We log it, arrange the right contractor, and keep you updated until the job is done.
Can I see the accounts and records for the building?
Yes. Leaseholders have the right to inspect the service charge accounts and supporting records, and we can send copies on request, usually within a reasonable period after the financial year ends.
I'm buying a flat — can you answer questions before I complete?
Yes. Solicitors and buyers regularly ask us for service charge figures, reserve fund balances and any planned works. Get in touch and we'll respond to the standard leasehold enquiries directly.
Can I sublet my flat, and do I need to tell you?
Subletting depends on the terms of your lease, so check that first. If it is allowed, let us know the tenant's details and a forwarding address so we can reach you about anything affecting the building.
